It is with a sombre and solemn heart that we at EC security bid farewell to Nelson Mandela. Sadly. the South African icon passed away peacefully at his Houghton home last night. Mr Mandela stood for freedom, peace and hope and did so with immense grace and humility.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Our company will continue to strive to live the teachings and ways which Mr Mandela lived for through our actions, perseverance and policies to continue the legacy left behind. Though he has passed, his memory will live on as guide for us all as we pledge our dedication to a free & fair South Africa. We Salute you Nelson Mandela.Farewell Madiba, You were a true inspiration to us all. Every tear you cried and all the pain you endured, you did so for a better world for all South Africans. A light has been extinguished that can never be replaced. We will always love you and be indebted to you for each moment of your life was in service of our great country and it's people.
